FAQ & Price List
- What about power and water? The units are ready to plug and play so we will connect to your services once we have placed the unit on your site. Talk to us about what you need at your end.
- How do you transport and place them? We have our own transporter and digger which we use to transport and place your unit by pulling the unit on its skids or attaching wheels to the skids if required.
- Can I swap from renting to finance at some stage in the future? Yes, at any stage you can transfer to a finance plan or purchase outright. The price will be adjusted based on age and condition of the unit.
- What are they built of? Standard residential timber construction. Genuine grooved tanalised Shadowclad plywood cladding exterior, and timber framing. Also has grooved MDF interior lining for strength and superior finish.
- How much is cartage and setup? We have a minimum delivery and setup charge of $500 subject to location and site conditions. Please ask us for a site visit and quote.
- Can you lift them over obstacles like fences? Our transport system does not allow this although we can arrange a truck crane or mobile crane for this purpose.
- How does no deposit finance work? We pass on finance to another company so subject to your filling in an application form and meeting the criteria, there should be no problem.
- Will I need to pay a bond if I am renting? No bond is payable although there is a minimum term of 6 months with two weeks rent in advance and delivery paid in advance.
- Can you build to our plans? Yes we can, we have built many configurations and are happy to work with you to realise your requirements. (Design fee may apply)
- What site prep do I need to do? The site should be level and accessible to ensure the unit can be placed safely.

Building Code of Compliance:
Please discuss your requirements with us. We build units in compliance with the Building Code and can build to your Council requirements. Site permits are the responsibility of the client and we can recommend a service provider to assist with this if required. Note: some units may not require consent - talk to us about it.
Delivery Costs:
The cost of delivery is determined on a case by case basis and is dependent upon distance travelled, access conditions to the site, site conditions and site preparation requirements. We have a minimum delivery fee of $500 and have our own delivery vehicle that satisfies most requirements. We will conduct a site visit before the build commences to ensure we can place the unit for you. If you prefer you can arrange your own delivery, however NZTU will not be liable for any damage to the unit whilst in transit.
